We're going to be closed for a while
Following last night’s government announcement, the gallery and Lookout Studio at The Base will remain closed until Monday 22 February.
Unfortunately, this means that the Hockney and Hollywood exhibition has now been postponed. For those who have booked to visit the exhibition, the front of house team at the Corn Exchange (which manages our bookings) will be in touch. We will also need to delay the opening of Wildlife Photographer of the Year and will be contacting those who have booked to either move tickets to a later date or to arrange a credit or refund.
We will be aiming to move as many workshops and classes as possible into an online format and will be in touch with those who have booked to discuss this with them.
In order to reduce our costs, we are using the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme so the team is working greatly reduced hours and there may be a delay in responding to enquiries.
We will keep you updated as the situation changes and thank you for understanding and continued support at this challenging time.
