Often, it’s the Christmas wreaths adorning front doors that signals the Christmas season is upon us. Professional florist Kate from Martha Rose, is back this year to help guide you through the steps to create your own Floral Christmas Wreath.

Join Judith Needham to Make a Willow Angelor a Willow Star to decorate your Christmas tree - the latter could be displayed on a wall all year round! Using a whole range of basketry techniques, you get lots of learning in Judith’s classes, as well as a really impressive creation to take home with you.

Create your ownSilk Painted Christmas Cards with Helen Mortimer where, using iron-fixed silk paints, you will learn a range of techniques and will create some beautiful cards to share with friends and family... after all, Christmas is a time for giving!

Festive workshops for young people and families

Young people age 6 - 12 can join Base resident artist Cáit Gould to make Festive Clay Decorations or your little elves could create their own festive cards and decorations in our Children's Christmas Printmaking workshops, both whilst enjoying Honesty gingerbread biscuits and a drink.
