.Join artist-printmaker Hannah Cantellow to create an artwork using recycled materials and objects from your home.
Create your own hybrid patterns of culture in response to Yinka Shonibare’s exhibition!
Families are invited to bring a meaningful object from home that represents their identity and/or culture. They will be encouraged to print with recycled materials to create exciting background patterns and develop drawings of their cultural object. By combining these they will be able to create a hybrid print that represents them as a citizen of the world. We will be using water-based printmaking inks.
Duration: 12pm - 4pm
Discount for Base Pass Plus Holders: 30% discount
Age Guidance: 8 - 14 (Must be accompanied by an adult)
Please bring an object from home/or that’s meaningful.
This workshop includes entry to the exhibition
All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
