Arm knit a Throw for Beginners - Spring 2021

Tuesday 12th Jan 2021 — Sunday 21st Feb 2021, The Lookout Studio, The Base

A giant grey wool throw with big knitting knots draped across a chair.

Unfortunately these workshops will not be taking place. We will be in touch with those who have booked.

Style up your home with your newly arm knitted throw which is perfect for any interior, great to snuggle under on the sofa or a lovely present for a loved one. Suitable for complete beginners and no knitting experience needed!

The workshop is led by Sophie Hale and includes 2 kg of vegan giant yarn to make a throw the rough size of 24 inch wide x 67 inch long.

We will make the whole throw in the workshop and if you would like to make another one you will be provided with a really useful content sheet to remind you of all you have learnt on the workshop!

Please remember to bring your face covering with you as visitors are required to wear them in the building, unless you are exempt from wearing one, or if you are eating or drinking. If you remove it to eat or drink you must put it back on when you have finished.

Duration: 2 hours

Sessions: Tue 12 & 26 Jan, 6pm - 8pm | Sun 21 Feb, 10am - 12pm

Materials: The workshop includes 2kg of yarn and you will make a whole throw in the session to take away.

This workshop will take place in person at The Base.

All places must be booked in advance. Booking closes 24 hours before the course start time. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.

We will be limiting the number of people admitted to each event to ensure appropriate social distancing between each group. You must only book tickets for people in your household. If you wish to come with someone who is not in your household or support bubble, they will need to book tickets in a separate transaction. This is for the purposes of Test and Trace and so that we can ensure that government guidelines are being adhered to for the safety of all of our visitors.

More information on your visit and the changes we have made to follow government and industry guidelines is available here.
