Silk Painted Christmas Cards
Learn new techniques to create silk painted Christmas cards this festive season.
Learn the beautiful art of modern calligraphy with a festive theme with Francesca, a professional Illustrator and Calligrapher based in Wiltshire.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners so no experience is necessary.
You will start by understanding the basics of how to use the nib with simple exercises learning to create thick and thin strokes, then applying these techniques to working your way through the alphabet creating letterforms in calligraphy. You will then learn to join letters and write words in a modern calligraphy style with lots of guidance and demonstrations from Francesca.
Towards the end of the session you will apply your new skills to create some beautiful personalised Christmas tags, cards and Christmas decorations!
All materials are provided including a starter kit which you will take home with you to continue your calligraphy practice.

All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
