Contactless Creativity Exhibition 2021
Thursday 14th Oct 2021 — Friday 15th Oct 2021, The Base Greenham
This exhibition celebrates the work created during our lockdown project Contactless Creativity, capturing the creativity of the participants involved, and exploring the impact of cultural engagement in the arts on the wellbeing of our community during lockdown.
Between August 2020 and February 2021 Contactless Creativity offered the opportunity for those who were shielding or who did not have access to digital content online to keep creative and feel connected. The project engaged with over 100 participants who were unable to take part in their usual activities or pastimes, at a time when contact with friends and family was limited or not possible. The project worked with 23 local artists to present creative activities of all kinds, from painting to mindfulness, which were delivered as a pack to homes across the region by our volunteers.
We are delighted to announce that Contactless Creativity has recently been shortlisted for the Fantastic for Families Award for Best Age Friendly Outreach.
