Saturday 14th May 2022, The Lookout Studio, The Base

A picture of a hand using Instagram.

A crash course in learning how to use the world’s biggest photo-sharing app to market yourself and your art.

The class will teach you some of the basics of the app, such as which hashtags to use and what times are best to post, as well in-depth tips and tricks for getting your posts noticed, making sales, finding your audience, and how to get the algorithm to work for you from The Base' resident artist Ellie Kerr-Smiley, who has used Instagram to launch her art career.

Duration: 2pm - 5pm

Session date: Sat 14 May

Face Coverings

We kindly request that all visitors wear face coverings when moving around the building (unless you are exempt). These can be removed during your session if you feel comfortable. As face coverings will no longer be mandatory, we will not be able to challenge those who choose not to wear one and we ask everyone to be kind and respectful to other visitors and our team.

All tickets must be booked in advance.

There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
