Learning Challenge of the Week w/c 1 June

Your learning challenge this week combines maths and art into cubism-inspired drawings!

You will need:
- Paper
- Pencils
- Ruler or straight edge
- Colouring pencils/pens/paints

Draw (or print and trace) a picture of something you might find in your house e.g. a fruit bowl, a toy, a table and chair
Using a ruler, draw a variety of 2D shapes over the top at different angles e.g. squares, circles, rectangles, pentagons etc.
Colour in your picture, ignoring the realistic shapes of the original picture, and changing colour where the new shapes are.

Ta-da! You’ve created a cubism-inspired drawing!

Congratulations on completing this week’s learning challenge! See you next week!
