Life Drawing - Autumn 21

Wednesday 22nd Sep 2021 — Wednesday 1st Dec 2021, The Lookout Studio, The Base

A pencil sketch of a women seated side on, facing away and resting on one arm while the other supports her bent knee.

Life drawing is the traditional discipline of working from the (usually) naked body.

Teaching as a group and encouraging individualism, under the guidance of artist Richard Francis Bellin this course will give a balance of observational skills and creative experiments, with the time to discover your own directions.

There will be a selection of different models to work from throughout the course, focusing on different aspects of observation each week.

Most importantly, everyone will be made to feel welcome and comfortable!

This course will take place in person at The Base.

Duration: 6pm - 8pm

Course dates: Wednesdays, 22 Sep - 20 Oct & 3 Nov & 1 Dec

A small selection of basic materials and paper will be available to use, with easels and boards, though students will be encouraged to bring their own to enable diversity.
