Mad May Hares

Spend a fun day and creative day with basket maker, Judith Needham, weaving a life-size sculpture of a boxing hare to enhance your garden or perhaps to make a really special gift.

Mainly using a random weave, there are also some interesting techniques to learn to the details of legs, ears and eyes - all borrowed from traditional basket making.

Please remember to bring your face covering with you as visitors are required to wear them in the building, unless you are exempt from wearing one, or if you are eating or drinking. If you remove it to eat or drink you must put it back on when you have finished.

All places must be booked in advance.Booking closes 24 hours before the course start time. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.

We will be limiting the number of people admitted to each event to ensure appropriate social distancing between each group. You must only book tickets for people in your household. If you wish to come with someone who is not in your household or support bubble, they will need to book tickets in a separate transaction. This is for the purposes of Test and Trace and so that we can ensure that government guidelines are being adhered to for the safety of all of our visitors.
