Following the update to government COVID-19 regulations, The Base will be closed until 3 December. We will be moving as much activity as possible online and will be in touch with those who have booked tickets as soon as possible. You can read our full statement here.

A general painting class with an emphasis on watercolour and pastel painting.

You will learn the basic techniques of watercolour in an accessible way, as well as pastel and other media, you will also learn colour theory and composition. This will enable you to improve your creative skills, Tessa gives individual tutoring according to the needs of the group.

Beginners and the more experienced are welcome.

This course will take place in person at The Base.

Duration: 10am - 12pm

Course dates: Tuesdays 22 Sep - 1 Dec

Wednesdays 23 Sep - 2 Dec

No session w/c 26 Oct

Materials: Participants will be expected to bring and use their own materials during the course. A list of basic materials will be provided for beginners.

This course will take place in person at The Base.

All places must be booked in advance. Booking closes 24 hours before the course start time. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.

We will be limiting the number of people admitted to each event to ensure appropriate social distancing between each group. You must only book tickets for people in your household. If you wish to come with someone who is not in your household or support bubble, they will need to book tickets in a separate transaction. This is for the purposes of Test and Trace and so that we can ensure that government guidelines are being adhered to for the safety of all of our visitors.
