The 57th installment of the world-renowned exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, comes to The Base.

Featuring exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breath-taking diversity of the natural world.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that has showcased the natural world's most astonishing and challenging sights for over 50 years.

Launched in 1965 and attracting 361 entries, today the competition receives over 49,000 entries from all over the world, highlighting its enduring appeal. This year’s award-winning images will embark on an international tour that will allow them to be seen by over a million people.

Parent and Baby Day: Thu 17 Feb & 17 Mar

As part of our Parent and Baby Day, we’re excited to be offering Songs and Stories in the Gallery, 30 minutes of stories and nursery rhymes which is free with your ticket purchased for the designated time slot.

Songs and Stories in the Gallery will take place at 10.30am and 1.30pm on Thursday 17 February and 1.30pm ONLY Thursday 17 March. If you would like to join us for these sessions please book the 10am or 1pm time slot for your visit.

Also included in your ticket is either an Americano or pot of tea and a Babychino from Honesty at The Base!
