Wildlife Photography Course - Spring 2024

Saturday 9th Mar 2024 — Saturday 6th Apr 2024, The Lookout Studio, The Base

Three black and yellow ducks in grass

To coincide with The Base's Wildlife Photographer of the Year 59 exhibition, Join Donna Lewis for this five-week wildlife beginners photography course.

This course is for beginners and people with a basic knowledge of their camera settings. You do not need to be a professional to join us, however, the manual setting will play an important part in your learning process.

Week one will include entry to the exhibition, an introduction to the world of wildlife photography and a studio shoot. The following weeks will involve heading out on location to explore the local flora and fauna. You will experiment with your camera whilst becoming more familiar with all the settings. Each week you will be taught a new technique and some extra costs may be included, depending on the locations we choose to visit. By the end of the course, you will have gained a range of skills, broadening your understanding of what your camera can do, and grown in confidence whilst producing photographs to be proud of.
