Discover the Winners of this Year's 'My Wild Life' Competition

We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's ‘My Wild Life’ photography competition, which asked budding photographers of all ages to capture the wonders of wildlife and the natural world.

Back in February, we launched the ‘My Wild Life’ photography competition which was inspired by the return of the Natural History Museum’s prestigious exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year to The Base (6 June – 20 July).

Our panel of judges, including Newbury Weekly News’ photographer Phil Cannings, local professional photographer Simon Booker and Arts Editor of the Newbury Weekly News, Trish Lee, whittled the entries down to the final 20 in each age group. These finalists were put forward in a Facebook online vote over the weekend (15 - 18 May) where the public selected their winners.
