Embark on your own artistic journey alongside Base resident artist Richard Francis Bellin to explore the captivating world of landscape painting.

What to expect: Richard will guide you through a dynamic exploration of various mediums and abstract techniques to create breathtaking landscapes that will develop your own artistic style. You will explore and experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques, that will blend traditional landscapes with modern abstract elements. With Richards support and tuition you will be equipped with the skills and inspiration needed to create your own masterpieces.

Benefits: The benefit of painting classes extends beyond the canvas. In addition to developing or improving artistic skills, exploring art and creativity can be a therapeutic outlet, for your wellbeing, to encourage self expression and reduce stress. It's also a great opportunity to meet likeminded creatives!

Who is your tutor: Richard Francis Bellin studied Illustration BA(hons) at Southampton University in 2009. He found his calling in fine art painting, creating landscapes and seascapes on a commission basis. Richard has recently rediscovered a love for oils, finding inspiration in the great masters. Having previously used handmade paints which were chalky, quick drying and unmalleable, Richard found comfort working in a free flowing medium with unlimited possibilities. Richard is a multidisciplinary artist, teaching a variety of classes from life drawing to oil painting and illustration, to all ages.

Duration: 6pm - 8pm

What to bring / wear: Please bring our own art box, or anything new you would particularly like to explore or anything you have at home. Richard will offer more guidance on the first session.
