Full Price £51 per person

Perfect for anyone who wishes to explore turning their own photocopied images into prints.
What to Expect:
In this relaxed workshop you will learn what images work well as a printing plate, how to ink up and transfer the image onto both paper and fabric without the need for gum arabic or a printing press! This way of printmaking is versatile and perfect for creative exploration and suitable for all skill levels. By the end of the workshop, you will understand the basics of Paper Lithography and will have developed a selection of prints you have produced yourself.
What to bring/wear:
Tuition, guidance and all materials are included. A selection of images to work from will be provided although participants are welcome to bring their own should they wish to. If you want to use your own images you will need to ensure that they are high contrast black and white and printed on a photocopier or any machine that uses toner to print in a selection of sizes up to A3. Please be aware that the printed image will be the reverse of the original image. Please bring an apron or wear old clothes. Disposable gloves are encouraged if you don’t wish to get ink on your hands.
Benefits:
This is a relaxed workshop where you can learn a new printmaking technique. It will give you the confidence to explore this form of printmaking further at home with additional information on materials and suppliers to get you started.
