.Make your own soy wax festive candle with Lindsey from Mount Cottage Crafts.
Using real pressed flowers and leaves, you will decorate a jar, then fill it with scented soy wax. You will leave the workshop with a personalised handcrafted candle to proudly display in your home or give away as a unique gift! You'll also gain the confidence and skills to create many more homemade candle masterpieces for your home.
You will learn:
- An overview of the different types of wax in candle making
- About the different fragrance options (essential oils vs fragrance oils)
- How to assemble and hand-pour your own container candle
- About wick types and how to burn a candle correctly
- How to measure the correct amount of wax, fragrance, and dye to use in candles
- The equipment needed for candle making
Duration: 2pm - 4pm

All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
