Flutter Book Binding Taster

As part of the Festival of Arts and Crafts, join Hazel Reindorp to make your own flutter book, learn about a bookbinder’s tools and get an insight into this fascinating craft.
During this 1-hour introduction to the art of bookbinding we will discuss paper, be introduced to some of the essential tools used by binders and everyone will create their own Flutter book. This is a binding without the need for sewing, simple, fun and easy to replicate at home. Hopefully catching your imagination and inspiring you to investigate this craft further.

Session: Wed 11 Sept, 10 - 11am and 11.30am - 12.30pm
Materials are included for this workshop.
Age Guidance: 18+
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
