Folded Book Taster

As part of our Festival of Arts and Crafts, join Hazel Reindorp for this fantastic introduction to bookbinding.
Learn the art of paper folding, making a simple meander folded book or try the more complex lotus fold technique.
The books made in this taster session have an element of origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. You will learn to use a few basic bookbinding tools and leave with your own beautiful books with colourful covers and ribbon ties. Along with hopefully the desire to try some more bookbinding in the future.

All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
