.In this introduction to silversmithing, you will make your own elegant, textured ring under the guidance and expertise of Sandra McArdle, that you can enjoy wearing with pride!
You will learn to measure and calculate the amount of metal required to make your ring, as well as learning some basic silversmithing techniques. You will learn to cut, anneal, solder, texture, clean, and polish silver to create your own unique ring.
Silversmithing can be a messy business, so please wear clothes that you will be comfortable in. Aprons will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and ensure that your hair is tied back off your face. There is close work involved in working with silver, so if you use glasses, please don’t forget them!
A cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake are included in the price of this workshop, but don’t forget to bring water to stay hydrated.
Duration: 6pm - 9.30pm

There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
