This 3.5 hour workshop will give you an introduction to silversmithing and you will make your own, elegant, textured ring that you can enjoy wearing with pride! You will learn to measure and calculate the amount of metal required to make your ring as well as learning some basic silversmithing techniques. You will learn to cut, anneal, solder, texture, clean and polish silver, to create your own unique ring.

Silversmithing can be a messy business so please wear clothes that you will be comfortable in, aprons will be provided. Please wear closed toes shoes and ensure that hair is tied back off your face. There is close work involved in working with silver so if you use glasses, please don’t forget them!

A cup of tea or coffee and piece of cake are included in the price of this workshop but don’t forget your water to keep you hydrated.

The Honesty Café at the Base is a great venue where you can treat yourself for lunch with your new silversmithing friends after the workshop!
