Join Judith Needham and make a large willow star covered in random weaving and decorate it with fairy lights.

What to expect:
Learn how to create and weave a willow star. Hang it on your front door instead of a wreath, show it off on the top of your tree or display it on a wall all year round.

Various sizes are possible up to about 50cm across. Suitable for beginners and those who have worked with willow before.

What to bring/ wear:
All materials will be provided (including fairy lights for your first star).

Benefits:
In this workshop you will be learning the traditional craft of willow weaving which not only creates a decorative item for you to take home to enjoy, it also helps promote and celebrate this ancient heritage craft. As a hands on workshop, working with this natural material is a great creative work-out for your hands!
