Pottery Throwing Taster

A pair of hands is forming clay into a bowl on a potters' wheel.

Fancy taking part in our pottery throw down? The Base' resident artist, Cáit Gould, will help you throw a pot on the potters' wheel.

Using air dry clay you will be able to take home your thrown pot at the end of a 30 minute session!

Booking essential to avoid disappointment.

Duration: 30 minutes

Sessions: 10am - 10.30am, 10.45am - 11.15am, 11.30am - 12pm, 12.15pm - 12.45pm, 1.45pm - 2.15pm & 2.30pm - 3pm

Face Coverings

We kindly request that all visitors where face coverings when moving around the building (unless you are exempt). These can be removed during your session if you feel comfortable. As face coverings will no longer be mandatory, we will not be able to challenge those who choose not to wear one and we ask everyone to be kind and respectful to other visitors and our team.

All tickets must be booked in advance.

There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
