Summer of Clay

Inspired by our summer exhibition, Simplicity and Complexity by Jin Eui Kim, our Summer of Clay gives you a chance to get stuck in to all things pottery.

Internationally renowned ceramic artist, Jin Eui Kim, brings his new series of eye-catching sculptures to The Base this summer, exploring with the intriguing themes of illusion and reality. We have a range of workshops and classes that you can join to get hands on in a variety of exhibition related activities, from clay jewellery to making your own optical vases, like those in the exhibition.
