Wild Walls - Artist Open Call

We're looking for 2D artists to contribute to our summer exhibition, Wild Walls.
We’re inviting 2D artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to submit their work for our upcoming exhibition, Wild Walls, taking place this summer.
Midlands-based street artist Katie O will cover some of the outer walls of our main Gallery in a vibrant Greenham Common-inspired mural using suggestions from the public. On the inner walls, we're inviting you to exhibit your interpretation of this beautiful, important local space.
Whether you’re emerging or established, this is your opportunity to exhibit your work in a vibrant arts hub!

🗓 Exhibition Dates: 1 August - 6 September 2025
📍 Location: The Base Greenham, West Berkshire, RG19 6HN
🖼 Theme: Greenham Common- including artwork inspired by your experiences and memories there. What does Greenham Common mean to you?

⚠️ Spots are limited – early submissions encouraged!
Requirements:
- 2D Mediums: Painting, photography, printmaking, video art, film, mixed media, poetry, illustration, and more
- For all emerging and established artists
- Must be 18+
Key Dates:
📅 Deadline to Apply: Sunday 13 July
🚗 Artwork Hand in Day : Saturday 26 July, 10-1pm
🎁 Collection and wrapping day (to collect your work and wrap up your work for collection if it’s been purchased) - Sunday 7 September, 2-4pm

This summer, immerse yourself in nature as The Base’s gallery will be transformed by street artist Katie O.
Celebrate our local landscape and the creatures that live there, as you explore the mural-adorned walls inspired by the scenery and wildlife of Greenham Common, which this year marks its 25th anniversary of being reopened to the public.
Visitors of all ages can enter our immersive environment and explore Katie’s nature-themed designs around the gallery, spotting familiar landmarks, animals, birds, insects, and plants along the way.
