Go WILD at our Family Day on Sat 12 July

We know the positive impact creative experiences have on young people’s futures, and also recognise that introducing children to the wonders of art galleries at a young age can feel a bit daunting! So our Family Day is the perfect opportunity to explore The Base with other families milling around too.

There's so much to do (and better yet, Under-5s go FREE)!

• Explore the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 60 exhibition (Main Gallery)
• Take a look at the wonderful photographs snapped by the local community in our 'My Wild Life' Competition Exhibition (Runway Gallery)
• Follow a wildlife-inspired 'Letter Scramble' trail around the building
• Peek inside our artist studios upstairs
• Boost your children’s creativity and imagination with FREE art and craft activities in the center of the Gallery- such as drawing, colouring and even spot the animals in our 'Gallery Detective' activity
• Take a break in Honesty Cafe, whether you're after a quick snack and hot drink, or lunch!
• You could even have a wonder over to Greenham Common (weather permitted) to experience the wildlife on our doorstep!

Come and immerse yourselves in nature, habitats and boundless creativity, all while bonding over activities that inspire, educate, and entertain!
Whether you and your children simply want to look at beautiful artwork and spend quality time together, or you want to explore the fascinating stories behind the Wildlife Photography, the Family Day will provide plenty of indoor fun.
